How to use Twitter for Beginners
Twitter is all the rage these days. Every time you turn on the news you learn about some "tweet" someone famous has sent, or you hear about Twitter growing more and more in size with each passing day. If you are a veteran Twitter user, this is just regular news for you. If, however, you are new to the Twitter scene you may have no idea what anyone is talking about. That's where I come in.
So if you are interested in learning exactly what Twitter is and how to use it, read on. Twitter is the ever expanding social media network that lets you follow friends, family, celebrities, and various people, and also lets you send "tweets" out, which all of your friends and followers can see and respond to. You can also follow people and see their "tweets" as they happen, and comment on them and "tweet" back and forth. A "tweet" can best be described as a post, and a post can be anything from your thoughts, feelings, a picture, a video, a meme, news, or anything else.
There are millions upon millions of people on Twitter, so navigating through the vast network can be a little tricky. The very first thing you need to do, if you haven't already, is sign up for the Twitter service, which is free. All you need for this is an email address or a phone number. You can sign up from your computer or mobile device, and I recommend signing up from a computer. After you sign up, you will need to create your profile, find people to follow, and set your preferences. Creating your profile will require a profile picture, some basic information, and you will need to create your Twitter handle. After your profile is set up, you will then need to set your Twitter preferences. This is an extremely important step as failing to set your preferences correctly can lead to a very poor Twitter experience.
Once you have your profile all set up, now the fun can begin. First, you need to find all the people you want to follow. This is fairly simple, and I will have some suggestions for people you can follow, and how to find your friends and family. Once you have started "following" people, you can start tweeting!

I liked the course. It definitely helped me get started with using Twitter and I find myself referring back to it often. Would rate it 4/5 stars
Thank you very much. This course helped me a lot and I am completely addicted to Twitter now! lol
This was great, been wanting to use twitter for a while now and your course finally got me started. thank you
Excellent! I am a senior and I wanted to learn how to use Twitter so I could keep up with the news and pop culture. Sincerely, I had no idea what I was doing at first and I saw that this course was recommended by my AARP representative and I also saw the course talked about on the news. So I went online and took the course. I must say, I was very impressed at how easy the class made Twitter. It was only about 30 minutes long and afterwards I was completely set up and good to go. My personal advice would be to take this course and plan for an hour. That way you can spend 30 minutes watching the course and another 30 minutes going through the steps on your computer to follow along. I came back to the course about 3 times since you get unlimited access. A+ rating
Thank you very much Infinity Guides! My guilty pleasure is following celebrities and hollywood stars and my nephew told me Twitter is the best way to go. Needless the say the class really helped and now I frequently tweet with many people including: Joel Osteen, President Trump, Meryl Streep, and Oprah
Signed up – Now I can tweet back Dump Trump!
